2/25/1955 – 7/26/2003 -- Jana Arnold Barto, age 48, passed away in Los Angeles, CA, due to cancer. She was an avid rower at UC Berkeley, and helped organize Women’s rowing teams in Marin County. She was a writer for the TV show ‘Suddenly Susan.” Jana was married.

Jana Barto was a High School friend of mine. She lived across the road from me near the water. I remember her as a very sweet and athletic friend. I used to watch the t.v. show Suddenly Susan. I am sorry to hear of her passing. Very sincerely, Debbie Matin
