Steven Jump VIEW PROFILE

1954 – 2011 -- Steve Jump passed away at the age of 57.  Steve was very camera shy.  He dedicated his life as a volunteer for the American Red Cross.  In the past 35 years he taught over 1000 first aid, CPR, and other courses, many to first responders or for certifying new trainers.  He worked hundreds of first aid stations for everything from Pop Warner Football to county fairs, and the Dip-Sea and Bay to Breakers foot races.  Steve received the Lifesavers Award for performing CPR, was recognized as the Red Cross Volunteer of the Year for the Bay Area, and received the Red Cross Lifetime Achievement Award.  Steve was a fifth-generation native Californian and a Santa Rosa resident since 1973.
