10/1/1955 - 9/25/2016 -- Gerald W. McDermott, of Newtown Square, Upper Darby, PA, passed away at age 60.  Born in Willow Grove, PA, Gerald was the son of the late James and Marie (nee McNally) McDermott.  He was the owner and operator of McDermott Enterprises, who specialized in home building.  He was a fun loving man with a very dry wit who enjoyed motorcycles, boats, and fishing.  He grew up bi-coastal, living in San Rafael and Willow Grove, PA.    Gerald was father of Gerald Jr. and Shawna of Havertown, PA, and brother of Jim, Charlie, Larry, and Stephen.
