6/5/1955 – 1/20/2014 -- Theron Lance Wood, of Reno, died, at the age of 58, at Methodist Hospital, Houston, TX while undergoing heart surgery.  He was born in Tulsa, OK.  You may remember Theron's big smile, kind heart and ability to tell stories with such enthusiasm.  He had a great mind and could converse on any subject.  Theron had a love for cars and collected license plates.  He was a motorcycle enthusiast and his passion for riding gave him a lot of joy.  Theron studied Auto Body and Paint at Denver Auto and Diesel College and graduated from the Denver Automotive College in the late 70's.   He worked in various body shops in the Reno area and was a former Paint Tech Level 1 at Penske Truck Collision Repair before injuries disabled him.  He married the love of his life Sheila on Jan. 16, 1984.  This 30yr marriage was blessed by loving and raising their two kids.  He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on July 7, 1990.  He is survived by his wife Sheila Wood (Stocke) of Reno, NV, daughter, Jessica (Wilbur) Cothurn of Sparks, NV, and son, Jacob Wood of Kennewick,WA.  Theron derived great joy in his relationship with his son-in-law Wilbur, three grandkids Jake, Levi, and Ethan and his in-laws Maxine and Ed Stocke.
